The head of the Progressive Socialist Party, Walid Jumblatt, received a delegation from the Lebanese-American Coordination Committee in Klemensau, in the presence of the head of the Democratic Gathering, Deputy Taymour Jumblatt. The delegation included the director of the Washington office at the Lebanese Cultural University in the World, Mai Rahani, the president of the "Lebanese-American Renaissance Partnership" Foundation, Walid Maalouf, the president of the "New Lebanon Gathering," Fares Wahbeh, Pierre Maroun representing the "Shields" organization, the head of the Lebanese Information Center in Washington, Dr. Joseph Jbeily, the executive director of the "Civil Impact Forum," Ziad Saigh representing the forum as the "national advisory organization for the committee in Lebanon," along with the presence of Deputy Wael Abou Faour, the foreign affairs commissioner in the "Progressive" party, Zaher Raad, and the party's representative in America, Sami Al-Qadi. The discussions focused on the latest political developments in Lebanon and the region.
