The price of Basrah light crude oil decreased today, Wednesday, in line with the decline in both Brent and American crude prices, while the price of Basrah heavy crude rose. Basrah light oil exported to Asia dropped to $68.44 per barrel, down by $0.60 or 0.87% from yesterday, Tuesday.
On the other hand, Basrah heavy crude prices registered $65.25 per barrel, marking an increase of 1.86%. The price of Saudi Arabian light crude reached $69.13 per barrel, while Emirati Murban crude was priced at $68.71 per barrel. Algerian Saharan blend recorded $67.85 per barrel, Nigerian Bonny Light was at $68.22, and Angolan Girassol stood at $68.83.
Global oil prices also declined today, with Brent crude at $67.94 and West Texas Intermediate at $64.71.
