Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett agreed with Foreign Minister Yair Lapid on Monday to dissolve the Knesset (parliament) next week and hold elections. A correspondent from "Sky News Arabia" reported that the agreement also includes Lapid assuming the position of Prime Minister during the transitional period. An Israeli official stated that a vote will be held in the parliament next week, after which Lapid will take over as Prime Minister.
