The Basra Operations Command announced today, Sunday, the initiation of extensive operations to search for individuals wanted by the judiciary, instigators of tribal conflicts, and the confiscation of unlicensed weapons, as well as arms and drug dealers.
The command mentioned in a statement sent to Alsumaria News that "the operations commander indicated that initial results confirm that security forces have succeeded in apprehending 5 individuals wanted by the judiciary for various criminal charges, and confiscating light weapons and various ammunition in areas of northern and southern Basra province."
