In an unimaginable manner, a horrifying crime has shocked residents in an area of eastern Jeddah. A Saudi man poured burning acid on his wife, leading to her death shortly after. According to local newspaper Sabq, security sources reported that family disputes drove the man to violently assault his wife and pour the corrosive substance on her body.
The acid also affected their young daughter, who is only two years old. Both the victim and her daughter were immediately transported by the Red Crescent to King Fahd Hospital in Jeddah, but unfortunately, the mother succumbed to her injuries. The young girl is still under medical care and observation in the hospital.
