Security Forces and Popular Mobilization Forces Initiate Search Operation to Pursue ISIS East of Amirli

The Popular Mobilization Forces Directorate announced today, Tuesday, the launch of a search operation to pursue remnants of ISIS gangs east of Amirli. The directorate stated in a statement that "a joint force from the 52nd Brigade of the Popular Mobilization Forces and Rapid Response units have commenced a search operation to track down ISIS remnants east of Amirli, aiming to secure the power transmission towers linking Diyala and Salah al-Din."
