The official account of "Case Esports" posted a designed image of Ronaldo in the team's colors on Twitter, captioning it: "New signing, Cristiano this is your new team." The club's account then followed up with another comment: "We were joking and you believed it."
A few minutes later, the Spanish esports team shared another tweet featuring a short video of Ronaldo in a previous press interview, where he says his famous phrase when celebrating goals, "siii," and commented addressing Ronaldo: "Cristiano, will they believe the joke?"
This "joke" from the Spanish team comes just days after reports emerged that the Portuguese star has decided to leave Manchester United and is looking for another European club to join in order to participate in the UEFA Champions League next season.
