Electric cars are establishing their presence across the automotive industry, including luxury sports car manufacturers like Porsche, Lamborghini, and even Ferrari, which is known for producing some of the world's most powerful traditional internal combustion engines. According to a report by EV Magazine, which specializes in automotive topics, Ferrari has not set a specific date to cease production of traditional engine vehicles as its competitor Bentley has, but it has already entered the electric vehicle market with its hybrid SF90. The magazine noted that Ferrari will launch its first fully electric car by 2025.
The first electric vehicle from Ferrari is likely to be extremely powerful, competing with cars such as the Lotus Evija and Rimac Concept_2. At the same time, the car is expected to be long, low, wide, and fast, consistent with Ferrari's established reputation. Thus, the electric Ferrari will retain all the essential attributes of the company's products, except for the powerful traditional engines, which will be replaced by electric motors.
As Ferrari delves deeper into the world of electric vehicles, the company might produce entirely different electric models. We may see an electric car that replaces the FF/GTC4Lusso.
