A traffic accident on the eastern entrance road to Hermel resulted in 12 injuries, including two in critical condition. The Lebanese Red Cross transported them to Al-Batoul and the government hospital in Hermel. Details indicate that a passenger van veered off its path and collided with a lamp post and a Toyota vehicle, causing several injuries. The accident also resulted in material damages that led to the road being closed, which has since been reopened. Security forces are investigating the incident.
