A state of sadness has prevailed in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia since the death of the famous YouTuber Mohammed Al-Shammari in a car accident last Thursday evening.
The local media in Saudi Arabia reported the death of YouTuber and Snapchat star Mohammed Al-Shammari, along with his daughter and child, in the car crash that occurred while he was traveling to Riyadh with his family.
Al-Arabiya.net quoted a friend of Al-Shammari, stating that the news of the death hit him like a thunderbolt, adding that his friend was "beloved by everyone due to his high morals and his warm and smiling interaction with everyone."
The friend confirmed that the late Al-Shammari's daughter, Hala, aged 5 years, and his infant son, Youssef, aged 7 months, both died in the same accident. He also noted that Al-Shammari's wife is currently hospitalized for necessary treatment.
Social media users circulated the first video of the horrific accident that claimed the lives of Mohammed Ghanem Al-Shammari, who was traveling to Riyadh with his family. The video shows Al-Shammari's car, which sustained significant damage and was shattered due to the severity of the incident.
The hashtag #Death_of_Mohammed_Al-Shammari trended on the microblogging site Twitter following the announcement of his death on Thursday evening after the devastating accident involving his family. Users reported that Al-Shammari, known on Snapchat, was traveling to Riyadh with his family when the tragic accident occurred, resulting in his and one of his children's deaths. The condition of the other family members has not been confirmed.
