Social media in Saudi Arabia has circulated a terrifying video showing the moment a residential tower in Jeddah fell on an excavator that was working to demolish the building. According to the video, the tower's collapse onto the excavator occurred during the demolition process of this residential tower, as part of a large-scale demolition of informal neighborhoods in the entire area. The operator of the excavator was close to the property, demolishing one of the main columns at the base of the residential tower, resulting in its immediate collapse onto the machine, in a shocking scene.
