Israel's Foreign Minister to Bahrain on Thursday

Israeli Foreign Minister Yair Lapid will make his first official visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain on Thursday following the normalization agreement between the two countries brokered by the United States last year, according to a statement from the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The statement noted that Lapid will inaugurate the Israeli embassy in Manama during the visit. It is also "expected that several bilateral agreements" will be signed between the two countries. The statement confirmed that "this is the first official visit by an Israeli minister to Bahrain."
