Lebanese young doctor Zaki Muhammad Sahati, from the city of Tripoli, has discovered a cancer treatment using various types of bacteria. This discovery has attracted the attention of the medical community in Spain, where Dr. Sahati resides. As a result, the European Union has funded the establishment of a laboratory for the young doctor to continue developing his scientific research on bacteria, of which Dr. Sahati has classified over 200 types for potential use in treating several incurable diseases. It is noteworthy that Dr. Zaki Muhammad Sahati studied pharmacy in Spain and then earned a PhD in microbiology. He has conducted in-depth research on a range of bacteria, particularly what is known as pseudomonas, discovering its biotechnological potential and vital functions. He has also identified and described several other bacteria that may have therapeutic roles for human diseases.
