Ronaldo's Fiery Statement on PSG Signing Messi

Former Real Madrid striker, Brazilian star Ronaldo Nazário, predicted that Paris Saint-Germain would not win the UEFA Champions League this season, despite the French club's signing of Argentine Lionel Messi. The current president of Real Valladolid in Spain cited his time at Real Madrid as evidence that a team's theoretical strength does not necessarily translate into winning important titles like the Champions League.

In an interview with DAZN, Ronaldo stated, "It's too early to predict which team will win the Champions League." He added, "The picture will take shape in the later stages of the tournament, as there are many factors on the field that affect the results. I played with Real Madrid for nearly five seasons and I did not win the Champions League with them."

He continued, "Winning does not happen automatically even if you have the best players in your team like Messi, and this also applies to Paris Saint-Germain." In response to a question about whether he sees any similarities between himself and PSG star Kylian Mbappé, Ronaldo said, "It is true that we have shared traits, and he executes football techniques quickly during matches," as reported by the Spanish newspaper "Marca."
