French international striker Kylian Mbappé responded to reports circulated by global media about his alleged demand for Paris Saint-Germain's management to get rid of 14 players this summer. Reports, including one from the Spanish newspaper "Mundo Deportivo," claimed that Mbappé requested the PSG management to part ways with 14 names during the current summer transfer window, including Brazilian star Neymar da Silva and Argentine coach Mauricio Pochettino.
According to the "Mundo Deportivo" report, Mbappé's "blacklist" included 12 other players: Mauro Icardi, Julian Draxler, Ander Herrera, Idrissa Gueye, Leandro Paredes, Thilo Kehrer, Danilo Pereira, Layvin Kurzawa, Pablo Sarabia, Juan Bernat, Colin Dagba, and Sergio Rico.
However, Mbappé quickly denied these rumors through his Twitter account, commenting on a post about his alleged demand to remove 14 names from PSG this summer, stating: "Fake news!"
Mbappé had recently sparked wide controversy after declining to join Real Madrid, choosing instead to extend his contract with Paris Saint-Germain for an additional three years.
