Public Works and Transport Minister Ali Hamieh indicated that "Lebanese ports and all public facilities under the Ministry of Public Works and Transport are a destination for their users, provided that they respect the laws and Lebanese sovereignty, which takes precedence over all other considerations for the benefit of Lebanon. The Syrian ship 'Ludisia' is outside Lebanese territorial waters."
