Video footage has captured the house where U.S. forces killed the leader of the terrorist organization ISIS in Idlib province, northwestern Syria. The operation was conducted through an air assault in Idlib, where soldiers from a U.S. special forces unit quickly surrounded a house where ISIS leader, who calls himself Abu Ibrahim al-Hashimi al-Qurashi, was hiding. The United States announced that the ISIS leader was killed in the operation, which was based on intelligence information monitoring al-Qurashi's movements.
The video footage showed that part of the house had collapsed, possibly due to an explosion from a bomb carried by al-Qurashi or missile fire towards the house. The house that was surrounded by U.S. forces is two stories high and surrounded by trees on some sides. Images taken from inside the house show that its contents were shattered as a result of the raid. U.S. soldiers left behind remnants of equipment marked in English around the area. The Syrian Observatory reported that the house where the ISIS leader was located is in the town of Atma, northern Idlib.
