Israel Appoints Its First Ambassador to Bahrain

Israel has appointed its first ambassador to Bahrain following the normalization of relations with the kingdom last year, according to the Arabic-language account of the Israeli government on Twitter. Ambassador Eitan Na’eh served for eight months as the acting head of the Israeli mission in the UAE, the first Gulf country to establish diplomatic relations with Israel, starting in August of last year. Khaled Yusuf Al-Jalahma, the first Bahraini ambassador to Israel, arrived there this week.
