The General Secretariat of the Parliament issued a statement confirming that the remarks made by MP Cynthia Zarazir through some media outlets yesterday and on social media are completely false. In its statement, the General Secretariat emphasized that in its performance, as well as that of its administrative, legal, ethical, and behavioral staff, there is no discrimination among any of the MPs.
The General Secretariat expresses its reluctance to respond to everything mentioned in MP Cynthia Zarazir's statement, knowing that she and her colleagues, from the very first day of entering the Parliament, have been granted all privileges granted to their fellow MPs, including a personal vehicle and a private office. Any contrary claim from her is an accusation and far from the truth. The General Secretariat hopes that MP Zarazir will refrain from provoking, inciting, and populist behavior.
