The Egyptian actress Rana Raees was devastated by the simultaneous deaths of her father and grandfather.
Details reveal that Rana's father, Emad Raees, passed away on Saturday, following the death of her grandfather, Mohamed Hassan Desouki, the father of her mother, who died on Friday afternoon. His funeral took place today after the noon prayer at Al-Hosary Mosque in 6th of October City. Rana shared a photo from her grandfather's grave on her Instagram story, asking the public for prayers for him.
Just a few hours after her grandfather's funeral, the actress announced her father's passing as well, stating on her Instagram story, "My father and a part of me, Emad Raees, has passed away."
On another note, Rana is participating in the series "Dhl Ragel" starring Yasser Jalal, which is set to air during the upcoming Ramadan season. Rana plays the role of the hero's daughter and encounters situations with Lebanese actress Nour, who also stars opposite Yasser Jalal, as she falls in love with him, leading to dramatic events between them.
Additionally, she is also part of the series "Naguib Zahi Zerkaash," featuring the prominent actor Yehia El Fakharany, scheduled to be broadcast in the upcoming Ramadan drama season. The cast includes Hala Fakher, Anushka, Sherine, Karim Afifi, Islam Ibrahim, Mohamed Mahmoud, Tamim Abdo, Mohamed El Sawy, and Fattuh Ahmed, directed by Shady El Fakharany and written by Abdel Rahim Kamal.
