Six days separate elected President Joe Biden from entering the White House, and it appears that Donald Trump has reached a dead end and has started packing his bags for his next destination, Florida.
American media have reported the delivery of piles of empty cardboard boxes to the White House executive office building to begin Trump's packing. NBC NEWS reported that the Biden administration plans to conduct a thorough cleaning campaign of the White House a week before his inauguration as president, coinciding with Trump's departure to the Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida. The cleaning costs, according to the channel based on government contracts and purchase orders, are estimated to be around half a million dollars. Due to Trump and more than 40 close associates contracting COVID-19, the cleaning process will differ from previous ones carried out by White House staff and housekeepers. The U.S. State Department announced yesterday that Biden will stay at "Blair House" the night before the inauguration ceremony, which Trump has said he will not attend.
