Reuters reported that Rafael Grossi, the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, stated, "We still hope to reach an agreement between Iran and the world powers to revive the 2015 nuclear deal," but he warned that talks are stalled and the opportunity could be lost. Speaking to committees in the European Parliament via the internet, he said, "Of course, we still hope to reach some agreement within a reasonable timeframe, but we must recognize the reality that the opportunity could be lost at any moment." He also warned Iran that it is not being transparent enough regarding its nuclear activities. He added, "In the past few months, we have been able to identify traces of enriched uranium in places that Iran has never declared to be locations of any activity."
