Star Riyad Mahrez, captain of the Algerian national team and Manchester City player, has secretly married for the second time just days before the Africa Cup of Nations kicks off. British media reported on Friday that Riyad Mahrez wed model Taylor Ward in a small ceremony according to Islamic tradition. The couple appeared at the event dressed entirely in white, and after the ceremony, they repeated the word "Qabul," which means acceptance of marriage, three times, according to the British newspaper "The Sun." The newspaper noted that Mahrez and Ward will hold a second celebration to formally legalize their marriage in the United Kingdom. It added that Mahrez and Taylor are "legally married under Islamic law following the wedding ceremony late last year," mentioning that "the wedding was small but special."
