The Association of Banks in Lebanon announced in a statement that the Board of Directors has decided to continue the strike on Monday, August 8, 2022. It will be left to the general assembly, which will convene on Wednesday, the 10th of this month, to decide on the appropriate steps to protect its interests and the interests of stakeholders such as employees, depositors, shareholders, and others, according to the statement. Therefore, Wednesday will be a regular workday in the banking sector.
