Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi stated that “Egypt, with its geographical location and regional and international role, cannot isolate itself from the challenges and changes sweeping the world, which have affected everyone.” In a speech marking the anniversary of the July 23 Revolution, Sisi emphasized that “there is no way to overcome these challenges except through hard and continuous work, as Egypt has faced over the past years various challenges with economic, social, political, and security dimensions.” He added, “Without the state's efforts in the field of economic reforms that the Egyptian people have endured, and the giant developmental projects across the country, it would have been impossible to withstand these severe crises.”
