How to Protect Your Heart in 5 Simple Steps

Saudi cardiologist Dr. Fawaz Al-Turki revealed five simple daily practices that can prevent 90% of potential heart risks. In his talk on the "Sabah Al-Arabiyya" program (Tuesday), Al-Turki confirmed that recent research indicates the general rule is to avoid all causes that lead to heart diseases, with smoking and obesity being the most prominent. He advised following certain guidelines to achieve this goal, which are: walking well and briskly for no less than half an hour daily, adding one to two tablespoons of olive oil to salads, getting good sleep, reducing stress and anxiety through hobbies, consuming a small amount of raw unsalted nuts, and eating salmon and tuna once or twice a week.
