Statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Regarding the Italian Helicopter Incident

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants issued the following statement: The Ministry regrets to be informed by the Lebanese Ambassador to Italy, Mira Al-Daher, of the confirmation of the death of Lebanese citizens Tarek Tayeh and Shadi Al-Kreidi, after the wreckage of the helicopter was found. The Ministry has been in contact with all relevant parties in Italy since the incident occurred to locate the helicopter and clarify the situation. The Ministry extends its deepest condolences to the families of the deceased and their loved ones in this painful loss, hoping for mercy for the deceased.
