They added that they typically use less than 400 liters per day, but the new bill indicated that they had consumed over 9,000 liters daily. The local council requested them to check the property for any water leaks, but they found nothing. The couple called on officials and council representatives to assist in inspecting and verifying the situation, but it ultimately led to nothing. They emphasized the need to check water meters, warning their fellow citizens of this serious matter.
