Shocking Incident: Mother Finds Bag of Drugs in Children’s Breakfast Cereal Box

A mother pouring cornflakes for her children at breakfast discovered a quantity of drugs inside the box and immediately took it to the police. According to The Sun, 25-year-old Maysem Nasser found a plastic bag filled with white crystals inside a box of Golden Morn cereal from Nestlé. She researched online and found that the contents could be methamphetamine, commonly known as crystal meth, a highly addictive drug. As reported by News, the woman, a mother of four, brought the bag to the police, who confirmed that the crystals were drugs as she suspected.

Mrs. Nasser from East London said, "Imagine if the bag had opened; the results could have been fatal." She added that her children, aged 3, 2, and 1-year-old twins, had been eating from the box for several days before the bag appeared. They underwent tests at the hospital and it was found that they were not affected by the drug. Nestlé stated that an investigation revealed the bag of drugs was placed after the product left Nigeria, where it was manufactured. The quantity of drugs in the bag is estimated to be around 450 grams, equivalent to £90,000.
