Approximately 53 phone models will face a complete shutdown of the "WhatsApp" application in the coming days, blocking access to messaging and photo/video sharing services on the platform. "iPhones" will stop running the app if they have iOS versions 9 or older. Without an update, these specific "Android" models will no longer support the app after November 1. People using three specific models of "iPhone" will need to update their phones or risk losing access to WhatsApp. In this regard, "Express" has prepared a list of all affected models.

Updating an "iPhone" device is very straightforward, but users need to keep their phones plugged in. Users need to open the "Settings" tab, then click on "General" and "Software Update." They may have more than one option available, allowing them to choose or install together. iPhones also come with an option to allow automatic updates. This option can be found by reopening the "Software Update" tab in settings. They can enable automatic updates by clicking the option there and selecting the toggles "Download iOS Updates" and "Install iOS Updates." Clicking on them will allow automatic updates, although some changes may require manual installation.
