The Russian Foreign Ministry announced that the resumption of flights with Qatar will also include tourists. The Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia stated today, "The resumption of air travel between Russia and Qatar will include tourists."
In his response to questions from journalists regarding the significance of the matter, he added, "I believe yes, of course, this area is extremely important, our bilateral relations and various projects, our partnership areas, not to mention the preparation for the World Cup that will take place next year, as there are many things within our bilateral communications."
He further noted, "Qatar is a very important and convenient transit point for flights heading to the East, Asia, and Africa, and previously, the resumption of international flights occurred on a reciprocal basis between Russia and the following countries: Vietnam, India, Finland, and Qatar."
It is worth mentioning that the Moscow-Doha route will operate three times a week.
