Two of the three cheetahs that escaped from a safari park in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, Eastern China, were captured on Saturday. One cheetah was spotted in a residential area in the Siliang village of the city's Fu Yang district at around 8 PM on Friday, according to an announcement from Fu Yang district authorities on Saturday. It was later confirmed that the animal was one of the three juvenile cheetahs that had fled from the Hangzhou safari park. As of Saturday afternoon, the two cheetahs had been captured while the search team continued efforts to apprehend the third. The park has been temporarily closed for a thorough safety review, and the person responsible for the park has been detained.
