Issued by the General Directorate of Internal Security Forces - Public Relations Division, the following statement: Through monitoring and surveillance operations for theft and pickpocketing in the city of Beirut, a patrol from the Beirut Police Investigation Unit was able to apprehend two individuals on a motorcycle on 6-7-2022 in the act of attempting to snatch a handbag from a citizen. The individuals are: M. R. (born 1993, Lebanese) and M. R. (born 1997, Lebanese). They were handed over along with the seized motorcycle to the Bosta Police Station for legal proceedings against them.
