Title: Minister of Interior: There is No Reason Not to Hold Elections

Interior and Municipalities Minister Judge Bassam Mawlawi stated in an interview with "Al-Hadath" channel that the participation of Lebanese abroad in the elections today is a good indicator of the desire for change, as the Lebanese diaspora is part of the Lebanese fabric. He expressed hope for a good voter turnout domestically as well, urging Lebanese citizens to choose their true and loyal representatives to their homeland. Mawlawi emphasized that there is no reason not to hold parliamentary elections and mentioned that efforts are being made daily to conduct the electoral process with transparency.
