Is the Sayrafa Platform Suspended?

Sources from the Central Bank of Lebanon confirmed to MTV that the "Central Bank" continues to allow conversions from Lebanese pounds to dollars via the Sayrafa platform without interruption. However, to limit speculation on the pound, which some individuals have been engaging in, the bank has set a monthly benefit cap of $500 per account for individuals, while transactions for institutions remain unchanged.
