Chelsea coach Thomas Tuchel urged his players to address the gap and weakness that led to conceding 11 goals in their last three home matches, including the 4-2 loss to Arsenal in the Premier League on Wednesday. In a press conference following the match against Arsenal, Tuchel considered defensive errors to be the reason behind Chelsea's high number of conceded goals, adding, "This level of mistakes is unacceptable and I don't see it in any other matches, but I've seen it in consecutive games for us, and it has to stop."
The German coach noted that he believed Chelsea had recovered from their defensive mistakes that led to a 4-1 home defeat against Brentford and a 3-1 loss to Real Madrid in the Champions League earlier this month, following a strong performance in recent times. He stated, "The players receive praise when they play like they did in the last three matches, and they need to face the reality that it is impossible to win matches at this level," as reported by Reuters.
