The Yemeni army announced that its forces conducted a wide-ranging search operation on Wednesday, successfully securing recently liberated sites and areas in the Al-Bayda district (rural Al-Bayda city), including mountains and locations surrounding the towns of Al-Dhahaki and Al-Ayuf. The media center of the Yemeni army confirmed in a statement the continuous victories and successes of army forces supported by coalition aircraft in ongoing battles across various fronts in Al-Bayda province, amid significant human and material losses among the Houthi militia.
In the eastern axis, the army's artillery launched intensive shelling targeting Houthi militia positions around the city of Al-Awain, the last area where the militia is stationed in the Al-Soma’a district. Units from the army, backed by local resistance, have passed the city and begun the liberation of the first areas of Al-Bayda district from the eastern side.
Meanwhile, coalition fighters destroyed two BMB vehicles and a Katyusha belonging to the Houthi militias in the districts of Dhay Naim and Al-Tufah, in addition to destroying a vehicle in Jabal Halmoos in Dhay Naim district. The airstrikes also resulted in casualties among the militia ranks.
Additionally, the Giants Brigades and the tribes of Al-Hamqan continued their advance towards Al-Bayda city, the provincial capital, following the cleansing of Al-Zahir district and control over the surrounding mountains. Colonel Yusuf Al-Barq, a leader in the Fourth Giants Brigade, stated that the Giants forces and Al-Hamqan resistance have continued their progress towards Al-Bayda city, where they have secured mountains in the Al-Mudhafar area. Al-Barq added that the forces succeeded on Tuesday evening in liberating the strategic Jabal Muslim, overlooking the provincial center and near Al-Bayda electricity center, as well as liberating Jabal Suda, close to Al-Bayda city.
