Boxing Champion Mocked Coronavirus and Refused Vaccine, Leading to His Demise

A kickboxing fighter died just days ago after insisting on avoiding the COVID-19 vaccine and choosing to treat his infection "at home." Frédéric Sinistra, 41, left a hospital in Liège, Belgium, after refusing to acknowledge his COVID-19 diagnosis. However, the kickboxing champion, who had 39 wins and only 9 losses in his career, succumbed to complications related to the virus in the small Belgian town of Sinceny just weeks later.

Reports indicate that the Belgian champion, known as "the Undertaker," told his followers on social media that he would treat his symptoms at home, away from the hospital. Despite his deteriorating condition and appearing in a video struggling with breathing issues, Sinistra insisted on staying home for treatment, writing, "No time to waste with the lazy."

In previous posts, the former champion referred to the coronavirus as "the little virus" and expressed his opposition to government measures to curb its spread, also refusing to get vaccinated. Local reports suggest that the fighter was only hospitalized after being compelled to do so by his coach, Oussama Yejin. The Belgian athlete remained active online until just days before his death.
