Lebanese artist Majida El Roumi sent a message to her audience today, Thursday, after experiencing a fainting spell and losing her balance during the opening ceremony of the Jerash Festival of Culture and Arts last night. Majida reassured her fans about her health in a message shared on her personal social media accounts. She stated, "And so I have returned to you... to embrace the beats of my heart with yours... Your love is my energy and the wings that carry my voice... With you, my journey is delightful... My love for you lasts forever, and thank you for your wishes... May you remain in good health and safety."
A video of the incident went viral on social media platforms in Lebanon and the Arab world, showing Majida fainting and losing her balance due to a drop in her blood pressure during her performance at the Jerash Festival in Jordan. While she was singing "I Love You Very Much," the artist nearly fell to the ground had it not been for a musician who helped her offstage. Majida resumed her concert after about 10 minutes.
