The Italian League's account on Twitter used a picture of Egyptian star Mohamed Salah, Liverpool's winger, to promote the "Calcio" championship. The Italian League account in Arabic posted a photo of Salah wearing a Roma jersey, as he previously played for the team between 2015 and 2017. The account commented on the image: "11 days until we return to the paradise of football," referring to the time remaining until the Calcio competition resumes for the 2023-2022 season. The Italian league is set to start on August 13. The Egyptian star joined AS Roma in the summer of 2015 on loan from Chelsea, before his contract was permanently bought in the summer of 2016. Salah played 83 matches for Roma, scoring 34 goals and providing 22 assists.
