In the opening match of the 19th round of the Prince Mohammed bin Salman Cup (Saudi Pro League), Al-Raed hosted Al-Wehda. Al-Wehda managed to overturn a 0-1 deficit against Al-Raed to secure a valuable 3-1 victory.
Al-Raed opened the scoring through player Mansour Al-Harbi in the 16th minute, but Anselmo de Moraes equalized for Al-Wehda in the 44th minute, concluding the first half at 1-1. Al-Raed missed a chance to take the lead in the second half when their player Roni Fernandez missed a penalty in the 55th minute.
The punishment came from Al-Wehda, as de Moraes scored the second goal in the 66th minute, followed by Hernani Jorge Santos, who scored the third goal for the visitors in the fourth minute of stoppage time.
With this result, Al-Wehda's points increased to 27, marking their second consecutive win in the tournament, temporarily placing them in sixth position until the other matches of the round concluded. Meanwhile, Al-Raed, suffering their tenth loss of the season and third in a row, remained at 19 points in fourteenth position (third from the bottom).
