Arrest of New ISIS Leader During Special Security Operation in Istanbul

The report indicated that the operation was carried out in complete secrecy under the leadership of Istanbul Police Chief Zafer Aktaş, noting that security forces had been monitoring the house where the ISIS leader was hiding for several days before executing the operation. It continued that teams of experts from the counter-terrorism and national intelligence services interrogated al-Qurashi after his arrest, allowing them to obtain important information about his terrorist organization's activities. The website also reported that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan will soon reveal further details about the arrest of the ISIS leader.
