The Saudi Central Bank has announced the issuance of a 200 riyal banknote to commemorate the fifth anniversary of the launch of "Vision 2030" under the reign of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. This is pursuant to Article "4" of the Saudi Monetary System established by Royal Decree No. 6 dated 01/07/1379 AH.
The Central Bank stated that the 200 riyal note will be issued and circulated starting today, Sunday, in addition to the currently circulating currency notes of all denominations as legal tender.
The Central Bank confirmed that this denomination has been printed according to the latest standards in banknote printing, featuring numerous technical specifications and high-quality security features, along with a unique design and attractive colors that highlight this denomination.
The design of the 200 riyal note, which is gray in color, includes an image of the founding king, Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Saud, on the front, along with the "Vision 2030" logo in three dimensions, the name of the Saudi Central Bank, and the denomination value in Arabic letters and numerals.
The reverse side of the note features an image of the Al-Hukm Palace in Riyadh, the name of the Saudi Central Bank, and the denomination value in English letters and numerals.
