The Jbeil District Governor, Nathalie Maalouf Khoury, and her team have been overseeing the distribution of election boxes to head poll clerks and recorders at the Jbeil Serail since four in the morning. This was conducted with the accompaniment of elements from the State Security Office under the command of Major Rabi' Elias. Khoury implemented modern mechanization for the distribution of head clerks across the 179 polling stations located within 87 centers across 85 towns in the Jbeil district.
Jbeil municipal police also closed the road leading to the Serail to facilitate the process.
