The Cabinet has resumed discussions on the 2027 budget proposal, with Prime Minister Nawaf Salam presiding over the session. Attending the meeting are Deputy Prime Minister Tarek Mitri and other key ministers, including Finance Minister Yassin Jaber, Defense Minister Michel Mansi, Tourism Minister Laura Khazen, and Social Affairs Minister Hanin Al-Sayed. Also present are Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Minister Youssef Raji, Economy and Trade Minister Amer Al-Bassat, Displaced and Information Technology and AI Minister Kamal Shehadeh, Interior and Municipalities Minister Brigadier Ahmed Al-Hajjar, and Justice Minister Adel Nassar. Other attendees include Youth and Sports Minister Noura Birkdarian, Education and Higher Education Minister Rima Karami, Industry Minister Djouice Khoury, Administrative Development Minister Fadi Makki, Labor Minister Mohamed Haider, Public Works and Transportation Minister Fayez Rasamni, Agriculture Minister Nizar Hani, Media, and Environment Minister Tamara Al-Zein, and Public Health Minister Rakan Nasiruddin.
The meeting also includes Director General of the Presidency Antoine Chuqir and Secretary-General of the Cabinet Judge Mahmoud Makkiyah.
