Interior Minister Ahmad Hajar met with French Ambassador Patrick Durel on a protocol visit marking the beginning of Durel's diplomatic mission in Lebanon. During the meeting, discussions were held on enhancing the French-Lebanese partnership, particularly amidst the challenges facing Lebanon.
The conversation also covered the ongoing preparations for the upcoming international conference to support the Lebanese Armed Forces and Internal Security Forces, set to take place next week in Paris. This conference is part of international efforts to bolster Lebanon's security and military institutions and enhance their capabilities.
Minister Hajar also welcomed EU Ambassador Sandra De Wall, discussing the European Union's support for Lebanese security and military agencies and ways to further develop and strengthen this support.
Additionally, he met with MPs Amin Shari and Riad Bro to talk over general conditions and development and service-related matters.
