A drunken passenger faced immediate consequences on a flight, as the crew restrained him in his seat with duct tape after he harassed two flight attendants and assaulted a third. The flight from Philadelphia to Miami on Saturday was chaotic after a passenger named Maxwell Perry, 22, claimed that his parents were wealthy and became aggressive towards the attendants after consuming several drinks on board.
According to a report from the Miami-Dade Police, Perry harassed two flight attendants and assaulted a third, even removing his shirt in the bathroom and exiting naked. A video showed a crew member binding the intoxicated young man to his seat and gagging him with duct tape, while Perry was seen in another clip repeatedly saying, "Help me, help me."
Upon arrival at the destination, the young man was arrested and charged with three offenses, according to the local news site "Local 10". Frontier Airlines stated in a press release, "During a flight from Philadelphia to Miami, a passenger made physical contact with one flight attendant and assaulted another."
"As a result, the passenger needed to be restrained until the flight landed in Miami and law enforcement arrived."
