President Michel Aoun awarded Ambassador Al-Qinai the National Cedar Order of the rank of Grand Officer on the occasion of the conclusion of his duties in Lebanon, in appreciation of his contributions and role in strengthening Lebanese-Kuwaiti relations. Aoun stated: "We appreciate Kuwait's constant support for Lebanon, which strives for the best relations with the Gulf Cooperation Council countries and wishes them security and stability." For his part, the Kuwaiti ambassador said from Baabda: "A new ambassador for Kuwait in Lebanon will be appointed as soon as the Kuwaiti diplomatic assignments are completed."
