The Lebanon men's basketball team under 18 has achieved its second consecutive victory in the West Asia Championship, being held in the Syrian capital, Damascus, until next Saturday, which qualifies for the Asian Championship to be hosted by Iran next month, by defeating their Syrian counterpart (94-70). The Lebanese team dominated the match from start to finish. This marks Lebanon's second victory, having previously won against Palestine (101-65) on Monday. Lebanon will conclude its first-round matches on Wednesday against Iraq at 5 PM. Four countries are participating in the regional championship, including Lebanon, Iraq, Syria, and Palestine. On Friday, the semifinals will take place between the first and fourth places and between the second and third places, with the winners of the two semifinal matches meeting in the final on Saturday.
