Deputy Najat Aoun Saliba stated in an interview with "OTV" during the program "Aalamkashouf" that "in the first session I attended in the Parliament, I was surprised that some deputies were smoking inside the rooms. I immediately went to the Speaker of the Parliament, Nabih Berri, and told him: 'Our president, law 174 states that smoking is prohibited in enclosed spaces, and these deputies who passed this law are violating it.' Berri responded, saying: 'I will send the Parliament police to remove the ashtrays, and after that, smoking will be prohibited.' In response to a question, she said: 'No one should try to philosophize and say that President Berri lacks experience; he is, in himself, a school, and I hope to benefit from it.' This statement sparked much controversy on social media.
